Laurence Fishburne has been cast as Perry White in the new Superman movie. Over in the Ultimates line of Marvel Comics, the new Spider-Man is a young bi-racial teen named Miles Morales.<\/p>\n
If you dislike Fishburne as an actor, or if you’re upset that they killed Peter Parker (even in a reality separate from mainstream Marvel Comics), fine. No problem. But if your objection to either or both is that the actor\/character isn’t white?<\/p>\n
Shut the hell up and keep it to yourself. You’re making the rest of us geeks–and the rest of us human beings, for that matter–look bad.<\/p>\n
