So, in the past two or three weeks, I have come up with a whole heaping mess of new ideas. Unfortunately, the majority of them are either

A) Tie-in story ideas for properties that I am not currently, and unlikely to ever be, working on; or

B) Book titles that are completely inappropriate for any of my existing ideas, and are not providing me with any story/plot ideas to go along with them.

This, Brain, is not helpful. You shall stop this immediately, or I’m putting you in the corner until you learn how to behave…

3,037 words today. Well, sort of. A few hundred of those were already written–occasionally I’ll jot down a scene that comes to mind before I get to it–but still, mostly new words.

And that brings me to…

This has been a test of the Mouseferatu blog-cast system. Had this been an actual blog entry, it would have included something at least vaguely resembling content.

To judge by the rattling, bumping, scraping, huffing, and snarling sounds, there is a goblin living in the apartment complex trash compactor.

Just calculated my quarterly estimated taxes for the coming year. I’d ask you to shoot me, but I can’t afford to pay for the bullet.

Well, halfway by chapters (finished eight of sixteen). A hair under halfway by word count, but even if I can’t make up a 1% shortfall over the next chapters, as long as it doesn’t increase by too much, I’ll be close enough to my target to be happy.
