WEB SITE, RESUME, AND PERSONAL PLAYGROUND OF ARI MARMELL, NOVELIST AND FREELANCE RPG WRITER

About Ari

When Ari Marmell has free time left over between feeding cats and posting on social media, he writes a little bit. His work includes novels, short stories, role-playing games, and video games, all of which he enjoyed in lieu of school work when growing up. He’s the author of the Mick Oberon gangland-fantasy-detective series, the Widdershins YA fantasy series, The Goblin Corps, and many others, with publishers such as Del Rey, Pyr Books, Wizards of the Coast, Omnium Gatherum, Dragon Moon Press, Macabreink.com and Titan Books.

Ari currently resides in Austin, Texas. He lives in a clutter that has a moderate amount of apartment in it, along with George—his wife—and the aforementioned cats, who probably want something.

You can find Ari online, if you’re not careful.

Below you’ll find a few notes from my blog… I will admit… I spend more time on my books than the website but I do post pretty much daily over on Facebook:

August 26, 2012: CopperCon!

So, CopperCon's coming up next week. (So is DragonCon, and WorldCon, and a couple of others. But due to an appalling lack of either cloning or transporter technology, I can't attend all of them. Stupid future.) I'm the Guest of Honor at this year's CopperCon--and it is, indeed, an honor, ...

July 24, 2012: Death Rides!

So, as of today, Darksiders: the Abomination Vault is out, available, on shelves, and so forth. Do you have it yet? Why not? You really should, before it's too late. Death can be patient, but War gets really violent when he's frustrated ...

July 9, 2012: Duck season? Rabbit season? Convention season!

So, it's that time of year again. I don't yet have my specific schedules within the various conventions, but I thought, for those of you who care (all three of you), I'd go ahead and at least mention which cons I'll be attending. ArmadilloCon: July 27-29, here in Austin, TX ...

June 7, 2012: Can’t Keep a Good Thief Down

So, since the release of False Covenant a couple of weeks ago--actually, even before that, due to advance review copies--I've had people asking me if there will be any more Widdershins novels. Well, since it's now been announced on the web site of JABberwocky Literary Agency (albeit tucked away in ...

June 5, 2012: E-Covenant!

Been waiting for the Kindle version of False Covenant? Wait no more! It's out, and it's available right here. It doesn't seem to be out for the Nook yet, but I promise you, that's coming, too. Expect another announcement as soon as it appears. Also? A number of you have ...
