Notes: The title of this short story is a deliberate homage to Poe’s "The Purloined Letter."

The main character of this story is a guy about whom I intend to write a great deal more in the future. Hopefully, you’ll like him at least half as much as I do. 😉

Two weeks ago, I didn’t even own a Kindle. Now?

Now I’m actually downloading the free samples of books that I already own in hardcopy, so I can at least read part of them on the Kindle before switching back to the actual book. 😳

I need help. That’s all there is to it.

In this week’s column, Corvis Rebaine, Terror of the East and advice columnist, takes on MMORPG-inspired relationship woes.

As with most (all?) authors, I have a file full of short fiction that I haven’t sold anywhere. It’s older stuff, so it’s not quite up to my current writing, but it’s not bad or embarrassing. I hope. 😉

If I were to take the plunge and do a cheap e-book (Kiindle, for instance) compilation, would there be much interest?
